For all bookings other than those organized through agencies, we require full payment at the time of booking. We will send you an email or letter confirming the booking, and receipt of moneys taken. We accept most credit cards via PAYPAL, or we can accept online bank transfer. If you are booking from overseas, we will provide you with our IBAN numbers. Prices are per room per night and include continental breakfast and all taxes. Course prices include lunch and all materials. Location bookings will be contracted separately.
Once payment is taken, we automatically remove any credit card details from our system, and all privacy laws are fully complied with.
In the unlikely event of your booking being cancelled or curtailed by yourselves, we are entitled by law to charge for booked accommodation not taken up. If cancellation occurs within 14 days of arrival a cancellation fee of £30.00 per room will be charged against the card details provided. Cancellation within 14 days of arrival (or non-arrival or curtailment of stay) will result in the full amount being charged. We will endeavour to re-let the accommodation on your behalf and, if successful, will refund the cost less the cancellation fee of £30.00. To avoid misunderstanding, we recommend all our guests to insure against cancellation.
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation were unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival & Departure
Your accommodation is available to you from 4pm until 9pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10.00am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Your bill for the accommodation and any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure.
Only those pre-booked and approved will be welcome at Roundhill. Any late guests or additions are not permitted, unless prior arranged.
Damages and Breakages & Cleanliness
You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you or any member of your party cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we reserve the right to make an on-the-spot charge, or we may send you an invoice, for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. We may make an additional charge if you did not report this. We ask that you leave your room in the high standard of cleanliness that it is presented to you. We will make charges if we have to pay for cleaning over and reasonable usage for an overnight stay. Please kindly note that Roundhill is STRICTLY a non-smoking property.
We do not accept liability for damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
We offer reduced rates for children under 16 years of age, children aged 16 or over will be charged at the adult rate.
We are unable to accept pets in the rooms.
We take full payment at the time of booking. If you are unable to attend your booking and it’s more than 14 days in advance, we can offer a refund minus 30% for administrative fees or you can transfer to a future course free of charge. If cancellation is within 14 days of your workshop, we are unable to offer a refund. You can always send a lucky friend in your place though – just let us know of the name change please. Alternatively, you can rebook onto a future available course date, by paying an additional 50% of the workshop value. A full refund will be given if your course is cancelled by us for any reason, or you can elect to attend an alternative course instead, space permitting.
How Do I Book A Course?
When you’ve decided which course you would like to book on to, please call us to arrange the date you would like to attend, and how many places you need. We take payment over the phone and can accept most credit cards via a PAYPAL account (It isn’t necessary for you have a PayPal account, just a valid credit card). Please note full payment is required in advance. You will then be sent a confirmation email and a receipt. We will then write to you a week before the course date, with final details of the day and a map to find us.
